About NOVORA

One thing at a time, done properly

NOVORA has never tried to be a catalogue. The idea has always been narrower than that: find one problem worth solving, understand it properly, and make a single thing that answers it — then stand behind that thing with a guarantee that makes trying it risk-free.

That principle is why we're now selling a book.

The question we couldn't answer

Every parent knows the moment. Your child asks why the sky is blue, or why we have two eyes instead of one, or where the sun goes at night — and you realise you don't actually know. So you say "good question", reach for a phone, and the answer arrives buried in an advert, or inside a video that autoplays into six more.

The curiosity was real. What we handed them wasn't.

10,000 Whys exists for that moment. It's a children's encyclopedia built around the questions children genuinely ask, rather than the ones adults think they should be asking — space, dinosaurs, the human body, oceans, weather, history, animals, physics, plants, the brain, technology and the Earth itself, answered in language a child can read on their own.

Why a book, and not an app

Because the thing competing for your child's attention is already a screen, and adding another one doesn't help. A book doesn't autoplay. It doesn't recommend, doesn't need a login, and doesn't refresh into something else the moment they finish. A child who picks it up is doing something a feed can't replicate: following their own curiosity, at their own pace, and stopping when they're done.

It's a hardcover, made to survive being read badly — face-down, spine open, on the floor, at the dinner table.

What we won't claim

We're deliberately careful about what we promise. A book is not a tutor, not a curriculum, and not a substitute for school. We can't tell you it will change your child's grades, and we won't pretend otherwise. Children differ — some will read it cover to cover in a fortnight, others will dip into it for a year.

What we will say: it's built for ages 6–12, it answers real questions properly rather than simply, and if your child doesn't take to it, our guarantee means it costs you nothing to have tried.

One product. Done properly.

That's still NOVORA.
